KFUPM Students Won the First and Second Positions in the National Programming Contest

Obtaining the Full Mark among 40 Teams

Two student teams won the first and second place in the national programming contest among the students of computer and information colleges in the Kingdom. The competition was held during the 1st National Computing Colleges Conference which was held from 17 to 18 February 2016, at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah.
In this First of its kind contest, 40 teams (a total of 119 students) from various computer colleges around the Kingdom were competed. KFUPM team achieved the full marks and was the fastest team in the delivery of the answers.
KFUPM team consist of Mr. Mohammed Shaalan, Omar Kanawati, Abdel Rahman Khalil, Mohammed Al-Angari, Hisham Karout,  Madhar Al-Fadhli, Walid Al-Qadi and Abdullah Al-Othman

The conference aims to develop curricula and study plans in line with international standards, labor market and the requirements of local and international academic accreditation. It, also, seeks to put ideas and contributions to support "Faculty Development Programs", and encourage partnership and cooperation between computer colleges and companies of information technology.
