How do you rate the services provided to faculty members?
The faculty of King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) are distinguished, and diverse. They include noted scholars, authors, sought-after consultants, and master teachers who hold advanced degrees from such prestigious world-class universities. Faculty engage students through teaching styles that range from the traditional Socratic method to interactive problem solving, from required courses to research seminars. Outside the classroom, they share their knowledge, give career advice, and provide a supportive environment.
Faculty Affairs, a division of Deanship of Faculty & Personnel Affairs, is responsible for faculty services, faculty performance evaluations, advisory services, recruitment functions and updaing the human resource databases. Data processing on information relating to currently employed faculty, such as, ratings of performance, changes in salaries, ranks, transfer of services, resignations, faculty on leaves, sabbatical, loans, scholarships, etc. The department of Faculty & Staff Services has programs to help eligible KFUPM faculty and staff with visa arrangements and passport services.

The department of Safety and Security works to maintain safety and security of the University community and its properties by providing protection 24 hours a day. They also provide information about getting to and around campus and parking permits.
