To obtain the MS degree in CEM, the student must complete 30 credit hours; consisting of 12 credits of core courses, 9 credits CEM elective courses, one non-CEM approved elective graduate course, 6-credit MS thesis and a research seminar.

A typical full time M.S. student is expected to finish the degree requirements in four semesters while a typical part time student may finish the degree requirements in six semesters.
