Configuring Outlook 2010 with recommended
settings for Exchange 2010

The Messaging API (MAPI) is
an API that provides access to the contents of messaging stores.
Using MAPI, a client program can connect to a MAPI store, and then
perform operations against that store. Starting with Exchange 2007,
Microsoft will distribute the MAPI client libraries. Hence It is
recommended by ITC to use MAPI configuration to synchronize your
outlook folders with the mailstore on
the server. To do so please follow the steps below:

Go to Control Panel a Mail a Select ‘E-mail
Accounts’ :
Select ‘Email Account’ then select ‘Next’:
Enter the as shown below and give your complete
INTERNET PASSWORD then click Next:
The client will finish configuring few steps and
then select ’Finish’:
