Transport Phenomena
The group unites allied faculty to enhance knowledge, exchange ideas, and initiate new research projects. The research work of this group is concerned with analytical, numerical, and experimental investigations of fluid and thermal sciences. Some of the research areas of this group include fluid properties, industrial applications of fluid dynamics, fluid agitation and mixing, computational fluid mechanics and heat transfer, multiphase flow, hydro- dynamics and heat transfer, convection heat transfer in packed beds, alternative energy technologies, fuel cells, and melting/solidification.
