ANNOUNCEMENT FOR FACULTY POSITIONS
King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) is an internationally recognized institution of higher education in the Middle East that emphasizes excellence in teaching and research. The College of Industrial Management at KFUPM, which uses English as medium of instruction, offers undergraduate programs in Accounting, Finance, Management, Marketing, and Management Information Systems. It also offers graduate programs leading to MBA and Executive MBA. The College of Industrial Management (CIM) is accredited by AACSB International.
The College is seeking applicants for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor in the following departments:
1. Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems is seeking applicants in the areas of Accounting and Management Information Systems.
2. Department of Finance & Economics is seeking applicants in the areas of Finance and Economics.
3. Department of Management & Marketing is seeking applicants in the areas of Management, Human Resources Management, Marketing, Operations Management, Organizational Communications, and Business Law.
Faculty members who are on sabbatical leave or leave of absence are also encouraged to apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates must either have an earned Ph.D. from a reputable institution, or be near completion of a Ph.D. in one of the disciplines stated above. Commitment to quality in teaching and research is required.
SALARY AND BENEFITS
Two-year renewable contract, competitive salary based on qualifications and experience, free furnished housing with free essential utilities and maintenance, and free medical care at KFUPM Clinic. Subject to University policy, the appointment includes the following additional benefits: round-trip air tickets to Dammam for the instructor and up to three of his dependents; tuition fees for school-age dependent children enrolled in local schools; local transportation allowance; two-month paid summer vacation, end-of service benefits, and free access to recreation facilities. KFUPM campus has a range of teaching and research support facilities such as an extensive library acquisitions and library databases, computing facilities, smart classrooms, and research and teaching laboratories. The campus is within a very short distance from the cities of Dammam and Al-Khobar.
