2nd Edition of Hackathon Coding contest
The Information and Computer Science (ICS)
Department, the TechBench Club, as well as the CyberSecurity Research
Group (CSRG) are orgnizing the 2nd Edition of the Hackathon coding
contest.
Hackathon is a programming/coding contest where
paraticipants have to solve a set of short challenging coding problems in Java
or in C programming languages. The faster you solve them, the higher you will
be ranked. The competition starts by easy/moderate problems and goes on until
advanced problems at the end. The scores will be diplayed live during the event
as participants solve the problems.
Hackathon 1.0 took
place in November 2015 with more than 100 participants (photo attached).
Who can
participate? Everybody
- Undegraduate
students
- Graduate students
- Staff, Faculty,
etc.
What to bring?
A laptop with access
to KFUPM wireless network (with enough power for 2 hours)
