WebCT online Course Management
System (CMS) is available to the university community to deliver and
conduct their courses through web.
The course management system
facilitate instructors in carrying out course related activities through web
including course content delivery, communication and collaboration, and
assessment. WebCT is a flexible and feature rich course development
system. This provides freedom and control to the course designers and is
thus used with a number of course at the university.
Course accounts are created on CMS on the request of KFUPM faculty corresponding to one of their
courses running during a semester. KFUPM faculty members can write to the
System Administrator to request a course account. ITC carries out the system administration, i.e., user and course
account creation, on the system.
DAD is responsible for the selection
of a Course Management System and currently provides support to the
