Conditions for applying to SAT Track:
• The applicant must be a high school graduate in the current year or the previous year.
• To apply, applicant must have a score of 1350+ in SAT.
• Satisfying minimum score does not guarantee admission. Seats are limited, and admission will be based on competition.
• To complete application, applicant must submit SAT scores, a statement of purpose and may be requested for an interview.
• Students must send SAT scores to King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals College Board account from the SAT test center.
Conditions for applying to the Early Admissions Track:
Early admission requires the following conditions:
• The student must be a Saudi national or Non-Saudi with a Saudi mother.
• The student must currently be in final year of high school (Please note, final high school grades must be submitted once released).
• Must submit a General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) score of 100 or 99.
• Must submit an English language test and obtain a score of 50 or above in the STEP test or its equivalent in the TOEFL or IELTS tests.
• Must pay an amount of 1,000 riyals to confirm admission, this fee is fully refundable after the student completes one semester at the university.
• The Achievement Test (Tahisili) is not required for the Early Admission Track.
• Those with a score of 100 in General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) will be assigned their first choice major directly. Those with a score of 99 in the General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) will be assigned a major per their list of preferences on a competitive basis. Competition will be based on the student registration time.
Conditions for applying to the Regular Admission Track:
Please note that the admission mechanism for this track depends on the comparison between applicants based on the weighted score, which is calculated in the following way: (50% for the General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) score + 40% for the Achievement Test (Tahisili) score + 10% for the high school score
Regular admission requires the following conditions:
• The student must be a graduate of the High School or High School course system or a Global Curriculum (Natural Sciences) in the same year in which he is applying for admission or the previous year.
• The student must submit a General Aptitude Test (Qudurat) score; the student is entitled to use the test result obtained in the year of admission or the previous two years.
• The student must submit an Achievement Test (Tahisili) score; the student is entitield to use the test result obtained in the year of admission or the previous year.
• The student must submit an English language test and obtain a score of 50 or above in the STEP test or its equivalent in the TOEFL or IELTS tests.
