The Chemistry department at KFUPM organized another successful Student Research Poster Day during the period 3-4 January 2017 in the Chemistry Building-4. During these two days, KFUPM Chemistry students (graduate and undergraduate) displayed their research work in the form of posters to the scientific community from inside and outside the KFUPM. Judges from the industry, specifically Saudi Aramco and SABIC, have evaluated the poster presentations and nominated the best ones which were then honored by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs in an award ceremony held on January 4, 2017.
The Chemistry department would like to acknowledge that the Saudi Chapter of the American Chemical Society (SAICSC-ACS) has thankfully sponsored all cash prizes as well as door prizes in this event. The Chemistry department is grateful to the society for its significant contribution, which is a proof of our mature collaboration and the continuous commitment from the society toward supporting our student activities. The Chemistry department faculty, staff and students have extended usual full support and efforts to make this event another success story. Finally, the feedback from the visitors and participants were overwhelmingly positive.
