Inorganic

Research group in Inorganic Chemistry at KFUPM focuses on a broad range of inorganic molecular and materials chemistry including homogenous and heterogeneous catalysis, coordination chemistry as a tool for the design of molecular systems with impact in areas such as catalysis and molecular materials. Our research team members also work on tailoring Inorganic/ Organometallics complexes for specific homogeneous catalysis applications such as olefin polymerization. Current research in the department also takes place at the interfaces of inorganic chemistry and health sciences involving synthesis, characterization and determination of anti-cancer activities for gold (III), gold (I) and platinum (II) complexes.
