The talk will highlight the presenter's research endeavours for the last couple of years in the field of analytical chemistry with examples of developing analytical tools for environmental and bioanalytical applications. The emphasis will   then be largely placed on metabolomics research. The audience will be introduced to metabolomics workflow. Few of the metabolomics applications in nutrition research, animal disease models, and environmental bioremediation will be presented. Finally, the talk will be concluded by giving examples of high-end quite interesting research themes for application of metabolomics in different scientific fields.
