| Title | Chemistry as a way to high impact factor research |
| Abstract | In this presentation, importance of chemistry in health and environmental sciences will be discussed - specifically quantitative mineralogy-geochemistry with some examples from health hazard minerals. When the research involves with health hazard minerals, such as from the asbestos group and erionite series, quantitative mineralogy - crystal chemistry becomes very important, as well as the instruments used to obtain the quantitative data. Minimum requirements involve certified laboratories and certified researchers. Usually hard work pays and the results can be published in high impact factor journals. Some examples that led to high to very high impact factor publications will be discussed. |
