Cooperative Work
Catalog Description
A continuous period of 28 weeks spent in industry with the
purpose of acquiring practical experience in different areas of Computer
Engineering. During this period, a student is exposed to the profession of
Computer Engineering by working in the field. Students are required to submit a
final report and give a presentation about their experience and the knowledge
they gained during their cooperative work.
Prerequisite(s)
Level-1 courses, Level-2 COE and ICS courses, COE 306, COE 344,
COE 300, ENG 214, ICS 324, GPA > 2.0, Department Approval

Course Objectives
- To acquire practical experience in conducting projects within a
professional setting,
- To learn about the technical needs of local/global industries,
- To acquire professional skills such as teamwork, project management, and
communications.
