On March 3, 2013, the EE department bid farewell to senior lab supervisor Mr Abdul Hameed Farazi who retired after 37 years of continuous service to Electrical Engineering Department of KFUPM. In recognition of theThe EE chairman expressed his appreciation for the dedication shown by Mr Farazi who had been an integral part of the department over the past four decades. The faculty and staff also spoke of their admiration and high regard. Mr Farazi was presented with gifts and honorary plaques on behalf of the department and a separate souvenir on behalf of his fellow lab supervisors.
