Health and Safety Inspection of Food Facilities
To ensure the safety of all food that is prepared and distributed within the KFUPM campus, the health section of EHS department is conducted regular health inspections of all food facilities within the campus. The purpose of this inspection is to ensure that the safe standards and practices are being followed with respect to general food handling, storage temperatures, cooking oil quality, sanitation, personal and kitchen hygiene, and waste dispose. Comprehensive inspection reports are prepared highlighting the health related issues made during the inspection, along with necessary recommendations to solve the highlighted issues. The reports are sent to concern departments to rectify the observed issues.
