Our Computer Science program has been granted Substantial Equivalency by ABET in 2001. The current program was revised and approved in 2006 and currently undergoing the full ABET accreditation process for 2009.
 
The Computer Science Master Program was established to provide the advanced knowledge in all fields related to computer and information sciences such as programming languages, software engineering, computer networks, computer and network security, information systems, distributed systems, artificial intelligence, and theoretical computer science.
 
 
The current program was revised and approved in April 2008. The program is in full compliance with IEEE/ACM Software Engineering SE2004 guidelines and meets the Engineering Accreditation Criteria (EAC).
 
The objectives of this program are to graduate students with a sound understanding of software engineering principles, practices and skills based on the software engineering body of knowledge, to prepare professionals to exhibit a leadership role and to have strong foundation for further research.
 
 
  • ​​The program is an advanced-knowledge program tailored to meet the needs of information security practitioners, network engineers, computer scientists, information technologists as well as software engineers.
  • The program has a synergy of theory, practice and research by providing multitude of specialized courses that cover all related aspects of the field.
