To secure systems, there is a need to understand attacking techniques which reached an unprecedented level of sophistication. For example, the Stuxnet malware which caused the physical destruction of 1000 out of 9000 centrifuges in Iran's Nuclear facilities delaying the nuclear program by at least 3 years, is the job of a team of well-funded hackers working during several months/years.

In this context, organizations need to be pro-active and develop skills and expertise to detect and contain such attacks in a timely manner.
