Calculus Award
Description and eligibility of the award:
The Calculus Courses (Math 101, Math 102, Math 201) are of fundamental importance to all disciplines of science, engineering, and business as they develop critical thinking and enhance problem solving skills. The objective of such award is to promote interest of the students and heighten their performance in calculus courses. Moreover, the recognition of the excellent achievers in the calculus courses encourages competition among the students, and gives an opportunity to the Department of Mathematics to attract good students for its Math, Stat and Actuarial Science programs.
The TOP 10 A+ students in each Calculus course namely, Math 101, Math 102 and Math 201, are considered for the award.
