Description:

The overall objective of this course is to give professionals in the architectural and related fields an overview of the latest technology in the drafting and presentation techniques in the building production process.  Participants who will benefit from this course will be those involved in the architectural & engineering design professions, such as architects, architectural engineers, landscape architects, interior designers, city planers, as well as educators, municipal officers and administrators.  The latest application in Drafting, Modeling and animation will be introduce to put participant at the edge of the latest technology in the field. In Addition to he KFUPM certificate. In the lecture portion of the course, speakers will examine types of Information Technology (IT) applications to produce and present the architectural projects in the various design and production stages.  Topics will include: Drafting and Modeling: Using the latest releases of the most leading drafting application in architectural and engineering drafting and modeling such as: ARCHITECTURAL DESKTOP. RENDERING: The use of rendering applications to render architectural model, such as Form Z. ANIMATION (WALK-THROUGH): Use of one of the leading animation program; 3D VIZ to render and animate the architectural/Engineering projects which include adding real material texture, light, and other virtual reality effects.
