Natural Gas Reservoir Engineering
College of Applied Engineering Petroleum Engineering
The importance of natural gas is growing at a tremendous pace in the Gulf Region as well as worldwide. This course will cover the fundamentals of natural gas reservoir engineering. That is 1) Determination of reserves using volumetric and material balance approaches taking into consideration the impact of water influx. 2) Forecasting reservoir performance based on decline curves and deliverability testing. 3) Gas condensate reservoirs and the impact of liquid drop out. 4) Underground gas storage and 5) Gas fields development.
Engineers dealing with all aspects of gas fields including reservoir, surface installation, transportation and management of natural gas fields. Geoscientists involved in gas fields operation will benefit from this course.
Changes may take place on scheduling of short courses without any prior notice.
