Description:

The objective of this intensive five days short course is to introduce the participants to the principles and concepts of GIS technology and its current and potential applications. The course is also intended to raise the awareness of personnel, whose agencies are contemplating to acquire GIS, about the issues that should be considered for a successful acquisition and implementation of GIS.

 

Who should attend:

Managers, Decision Makers, Planners, and other personnel of public and private agencies that are contemplating the acquisition of GIS technology.  Specifically, this course is intended for personnel coming from municipalities and utilities such as phone, electricity, water and sewer agencies at a national, regional, or local level.
