Analysis and Trace Removal,
College of Sciences
Chemistry
The use of certain sensitive techniques for the determination of analysis at very low levels and the effective methods to remove certain undesirable chemicals will be discussed. This is intended to upgrade the skills of analysts, chemists, lab. supervisors and chemical engineers who are working in industry, quality control and environment. Course outlines are: 1. Atomic and Molecular Spectroscopy AA, FE, ICP, U.V Vis., Fluorescence and Chemiluminescence 2. Chromatography (GC,, HPLC, TLC, IC) 3. Electrochemical Methods (Potentiometry, Amperometry and Voltammetry) 4. Flow Injection Analysis (FIA) and (SIA) 5. Methods of Trace Removal 6. Statistical Analysis of Results
Technical staff such as chemists, chemical engineers, industrial chemists, analysts, and personnel interested in chemical analysis, research and development, environmental studies, quality control and refineries. To gain maximum benefit from this course, participants are preferred to have a chemical or engineering degree, or equivalent experience.
Changes may take place on scheduling of short courses without any prior notice. To be sure, please contact at:
