The Program
Educational Objectives of the EE programs are as follows:
Electrical Engineering Science Program
The EE department has defined a set of objectives that translates its
mission into defined tasks. The objectives of the EE Science program are
designed to provide EE graduates with:
1. Preparation for a successful electrical engineering career to become
leaders in the industry and the public sector, or pursue an advanced
degree if so desired.
2. The necessary skills related to basic planning, analysis, design,
implementation and operation of major electrical engineering systems.
3. Contemporary professional practice of electrical engineering using
advanced analytical, computational and experimental tools.
4. Continuous professional development, engagement in life long
learning, and having the necessary skills related to team work and
effective communications.
5. Professional responsibilities and ethical values for economic
considerations and global issues related to electrical engineering.
Applied Electrical Engineering Program
The EE department has defined a set of objectives that translates its
mission into defined tasks. The objectives of the applied electrical
engineering (AEE) program are prepared to provide AEE graduates with:
1. Preparation for a successful electrical engineering career to become
leaders in the industry and the public sector, or pursue an advanced
degree if so desired.
2. The necessary skills related to basic planning, analysis, design,
implementation and operation of major electrical engineering systems.
3. Contemporary professional practice of electrical engineering using
analytical, computational and experimental tools in addition to
practical work integrated learning.
4. The ability to continue professional development to engage in life
long learning and to have the necessary skills related to team work and
effective communications.
5. Professional responsibilities and ethical values for economic
considerations and global issues related to electrical engineering.
