The Entrance Examination is given every semester unless
the Graduate Program Committee decides to postpone it. Ph.D. students must
take the examination not later than the end of the second semester of their

This is a two part written examination:

is required to answer 4 questions selected from:
- Electromagnetic EE 340

- Digital Logic Circuits EE 200
- Control Systems EE 380
- Communications EE 370
The selection must include EE 303 or EE 340 or both.
Part II of the examination is based on the graduate course. The student is required to select 3 out of the 6 courses for this examination.
- Communications EE 511
- Control Systems EE 550

In order to continue his Ph.D. program, the student must pass both parts of this
