Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Schlumberger Limited
Andrew Gould serves as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Schlumberger Limited, a leading oilfield services and technology company. He has served in this position since 2003. Previous high level positions include President and Chief Operating Officer of Schlumberger Limited from 2002 to 2003. He was Executive Vice President, Schlumberger Oilfield Services over 1999 to 2002. Other appointments include Treasurer of Schlumberger Limited, and President of Sedco Forex, Wireline & Testing, and Oilfield Services Products. Gould started his career at Schlumberger in 1975 in the company's Internal Audit Department in Paris. Before joining Schlumberger, he had worked for Ernst & Young.
He is an outside (non-executive) Director on the Boards of Directors of Rio Tinto Plc. and Rio Tinto Ltd. He serves on the commercialization advisory board of the Imperial College of Science, Technology and Medicine, London. He is a patron of the Permits foundation, an international industry initiative to improve work permit regulations for the spouses of expatriate employees
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economic History from the University of Wales.
