The Rector and Vice Rectors
The King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals is led by Dr. Khaled Al-Sultan, KFUPM's 3rd rector, and Vice Rectors Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Suwaiyan, Dr. Sahel N. Abduljauwad and Dr. Faleh Abdullah Al-Sulaiman.
University Governance
In addition to the rector, vice rectors and supervisros, university governance at KFUPM includes several bodies: the University Board, a cabinet of deans and other academic officers, directors and department chairs.

A number of university-wide policy documents provide the details of official KFUPM policies.
Academic Units
All of KFUPM's five colleges offer undergraduate and graduate programs: Sciences, Engineering Sciences, Computer Sciences and Engineering, Industrial Management and Environmental Design.
