CEnter of excellence for collaboration with mit

The first workshop organized by CESRC-MIT CCWE during the KFUPM-MIT Winter 2009 meeting addressed the important subjects of clean water and clean energy which are of global importance as well as of specific importance to Saudi Arabia.

The Keynote Presentations from researchers in KFUPM, MIT and Saudi industry focused on the following questions:

• How Can Partnership and International Collaboration Participate in knowledge-based economy in the era of globalization?
• What is the State of the Art in Carbon Management Research?
• How Can Renewable Energies be Used and Sustained?
• What is the State of the Art and the Prospects of water desalination in Saudi Arabia?
