Mission
The fundamental function of the Center of Excellence in Turbomachinery is to rely on its researchers whose mission is to seek advancement in knowledge and disseminate research outcomes to the immediate Saudi society and the humanity at large. Research advancement should be considered one of the primary distinguishing characteristics of the center. Therefore the center mission is summarized in the followings:
| Develop new technologies and work in partnership with internal and external organizations to transfer new technologies, enhance training, as well as to plan new initiatives. |
| Provide enabling capabilities to the scientific community and industry by performing the state-of-the-art research in the areas of turbomachinery. |
| Advocates for Center of Excellence resources to ensure technical capabilities in strategic areas of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. |
| Establish and maintain the worldwide leadership in research and technology development in the areas of turbomachinery. |
| Collaborate with other renown similar institutions and exchange experience and technological developments in the frontiers of scientific knowledge. |
