This laboratory handles the required analytical services for all other petroleum engineering laboratories.The laboratory has facilities for the following:

  1. Colorimetric determination of compounds;

  2. Analytical evaluation of surfactants and polymers;

  3. Elemental analysis of ions;

  4. Titration and dispensing;

  1. UV Spectro-photometer

  2. X-ray sedimentometer

  3. Emission spectrometer

  4. Zeta meter

  5. Shakers, ovens, analytical balances, centrifuge machine, grinding equipment, pH and conductivity meters, and viscometers
