Message from the Director
I am pleased on behalf of our dedicated engineers and scientists to
introduce our Center. The focal points of our activities are our four
laboratories in communications and signal processing, computer
networking and information security, database and web applications, and
smart systems. We also operate our e-Business and training unit which
functions as a consultation service in various fields related to
electronic services and e-initiatives. We have provided research and
e-Business consultations to both government and private sector clients.
The Center is devoted to excellence in research, development,
consulting, and training in the fields of communications, IT, and
computing. We strive to provide work of high quality, innovation,
high-impact, and added-value.
In recent years our major studies were executed successfully for S
audi Aramco, Saudi Telecommunications Company, Lucent Technologies, and Saudi
Arabian Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC). We work closely with faculty
from the relevant KFUPM academic departments. Our research is scalable;
we are pleased from time-to-time to collaborate with some of our
international partners such as Microsoft Corp., TATA, Wipro, Intel, and
Dolf Technologies
