Message from the Director I am pleased on behalf
of our dedicated research economists/scientists and
systems engineers to introduce our Center. Our mission is to enhance
economic, management and industrial development in Saudi Arabia and
other Gulf countries. We strive to provide the most modern managerial
and economics skills.
Our full-time professional staff, often in collaboration with faculty
from the relevant academic departments, provides high quality research
in the fields of management, economics, statistics, and information
systems. Services are provided in marketing research and economics. We
work on macro and micro economics issues, including (i) energy
economics; (ii) cost; (iii) financial and business analyses; (iv)
business modeling and forecasting; (v) socioeconomic impact assessment;
(vi) feasibility studies and business planning; (vii) project
development and investment issues, and (viii)
Islamic banking and
finance.
In the business management field, we are involved with the following: (i)
strategic planning; (ii) business process re-engineering (BPR); (iii)
e-Business; (iv) enterprise resource planning; (v) e-Health; (vi) and
total quality management (TQM).
The Center’s established values are client satisfaction, creativity and
innovation, continual improvement, and collaborative team work.
