Message from the Director On behalf of our engineers and technicians, I am pleased to introduce the Center of Engineering Research. We are one of the largest research centers at KFUPM and have been actively conducting research and technical studies for industry and the government for more than 20 years. Our study areas cover many engineering disciplines.
We have a strong track record in the following
categories, among others: (i) materials characterization; (ii)
corrosion; (iii) concrete and other building materials; (iv) electric
power systems; (v) high voltage engineering; (vi) computer-aided
modeling and design; (vii) finite element
analysis of structural and
mechanical systems; (viii) transportation engineering; (ix) urban areas
engineering; (x) engineering analysis of civil and mechanical
engineering related problems; and (xi) services in measurement
standards.
The Center has a cadre of highly qualified researchers and well-trained
technical staff, and state-of-the-art equipment. We strive to provide a
high quality service to our clients.
