Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Sultan Bin Abdulaziz , Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM) will host the 11th Arab Structural Engineering Conference (11th ASEC) from Sunday 25 to Tuesday 27 October 2009 (6-8 Dhu Al-Qa'dah 1430).
The conference aims to provide a forum for academicians, researchers, practicing engineers and policy makers, who have interest in structural engineering, to meet and discuss the recent advances and developments in structures-related areas, and to share ideas on current and future challenges facing the Arab world in responding to the rapid growth of construction in the region. In addition to the regular sessions, the conference aims to have several plenary sessions addressed by well-known academicians, industrialists and public figures.
