The KFUPM Laser Research Group (LRG) was established to bring together researchers working in the area of lasers and their applications and to form a single platform with the ultimate aim of focusing the laser research efforts in a more rational and effective manner.
Research programs that are in line with the strategic needs of the industry in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the academic departments of KFUPM are being strongly supported by LRG. Participation of graduate students and faculty members from different departments of KFUPM and other national universities is highly encouraged. The other major activity of the LRG will be the dissemination of knowledge/information in the field of laser through organizing seminars/workshops/conferences.
