Biography He is responsible for providing strategy and leadership in the area of e learning. His activities involve working with Universities, Schools, Corporate and Government agencies around the world. He has presented at numerous conferences and has been a team member and consultant of a number of e-Learning projects in several countries. Prior to his current roles he managed the operation of a private company INDELTA a company with which he was involved since its inception 8 years ago. As Chief Executive Officer, David has planned and led the activities of INDELTA and set up collaborative networks in e-learning activities with business, government and education sectors globally. David has had four careers over 20 years in the fields of university administration, industry consultancy, university teaching and secondary teaching. Prior to taking up the position of Chair of Flexible Delivery and Chief Executive Officer with INDELTA, David was Associate Director, Distance Education Centre at the University of Southern Queensland. David has managed distance education programs, developed and taught multimedia units, coordinated research projects and led the design and introduction of innovative learning programs in education and industry. His experience is in developing courseware and strategies for the delivery of instruction in Distance Education, the use of multimedia in courseware design, creating interactive courseware, flexible delivery methodologies, and the emergence of blended learning delivery strategies for Universities. David earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Education, Teacher Education from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He acquired his Masters in Science, Industrial Education, Teacher Education and Curriculum Design from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio. He earned his Doctorate Degree in Vocational Education, Administration and Curriculum, Trades and Industry from University of Cincinnati, Ohio. David's fields of expertise and competence include Instructional design and curriculum development, Research in strategies for courseware delivery, Management both at University and Corporate, Project management, Strategic planning, People management, Commercialization and entrepreneurial activities Consultancy for e-learning initiatives. |
