Welcome to the Office of Planning and Quality Homepage (OPQ) at King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals (KFUPM).

Since the establishment of the Office of Planning and Quality, it plays a major role in KFUPM strategic planning and quality assurance. The office acts as a single, coordinated source of reliable institutional data from which performance indicators and statutory reports can be derived. Also, it contributes to the culture of evidence and accountability at the university by conducting research and engagement in advocacy in areas such as policies, strategies, quality, funding, technologies, and in different developmental issues.

The office is committed to the highest standards of ethical conduct in all of its activities and the use of high quality and authentic data for planning, decision making, and quality improvements of university units and functions.
