Abstract: This seminar analyzes the initial public offering (IPO) of a 5% share of Saudi Aramco on international stock exchange markets. It discusses the interaction between Saudi Arabia as a sovereign shareholder and international stock markets from an international political economy perspective. The seminar explains how Saudi Arabia is influencing the laws and regulations of New York, London, and Hong Kong stock exchange markets through the IPO of Saudi Aramco as the world's largest oil company. Bio: Mr. Mohammed Sulaimani recently obtained his Master's in International Affairs, specifically in "International Energy Policy of the Middle East" from Pennsylvania State University. He currently teaches International Relations at KFUPM.
